Abstract (EN)

In this study, symmetrical N,N'-p-phenylene-bis(3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene) (tBusalpphenH2, L1), N,N'-p-phenylene-bis(salicylidenimin) (salpphenH2, L2) and from the reaction of N,N'-bis(ferrocenylmethylene)-p-phenylenadiamine (L3) Schiff bases with TiCl4.2THF and Pd(OAc)2, TiCl2(tBusalpphenH2)]Cl2.2H2O (K1), [Pd(tBusalpphen)]2.2H2O (K2), [TiCl2(salpphenH2)]Cl2.5H2O (K3), [Pd(salpphen)]2.2H2O (K4), [(L3)Ti2Cl8].5H2O (K5) and [Pd(L3)(OAc)2].4H2O (K6) complexes are obtained. The structures of the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic methods such as TGA, Mass (ESI-), FT-IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. The electrochemical properties of the N,N'-bis(ferrocenylmethylene)-p-phenylenadiamine (L3) Schiff base and [Pd(L3)(OAc)2]·4H2O (K6) complex were investigated by cyclic voltammetry method. Antimicrobial activities of ligands and synthesized complexes were determined.
