Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the yield, yield components and fiber quality parameters in a single plant progeny rows at F3:5 generation under, the full and deficit irrigation conditions. The experiment was conducted at Adnan Menderes University, Agriculture Faculty in full and deficit conditions. In the full irrigation experiment, 124 single plants, and in the experiment of deficit irrigation 72 single plants were planted. In addition, planting system was designed based on experimental design of Augumented by performing 4 replications by 70 cm of row spacing and 12 m of row length. Under full irrigation plant height (cm), boll number per plant (boll/plant), lint percentage (%), irrigation water use efficiency (kg/da/mm), seed cotton yield (kg/da), at the deficit irrigation conditions a single plant yield (g), boll number per plant (boll/plant), lint percentage (%), irrigation water use efficiency (kg/da/mm) and seed cotton yield (kg/da), and fiber strength (g/tex) were found to be significant. In the performed study, along with the result of the evaluation of the yield for the single plant progeny rows, component of the yield, and fiber quality characteristics was determined that Carmen x Nazilli-503(H: 11), Nazilli-503 x Şahin-2000 (H: 109), Carmen x Nazilli-503 (H: 119), ST-373 x DPL-90 (H: 122), which is the single progeny rows, are promising in the full irrigation conditions. Also, as known single progeny rows, Carmen x Nazilli-503(H: 20), Nazilli-503 x Tamcot-22(H: 61), Carmen x DPL-90(H: 75) have been detected as promising hybrids in the deficit irrigation conditions.
