The new face of daily life, changing with the pandemic process: Digital everyday life

For social life, change and transformation is an inevitable reality. Social change and transformation take place over a long period of time in the historical process. The breaks that occur in some periods in social life accelerate social change and transformation. The Covid-19 virus, which causes a health crisis in today's world, directly affects daily life. The prohibitions and restrictions imposed after the declaration of the pandemic process made it necessary to transform daily life. In this process, physical mobility was reduced to a minimum and the spread of the virus was tried to be prevented. People who are physically unable to come together are united on digital networks. Daily life has gained a digital form with the Covid-19 pandemic process. The purpose of this research is to examine the digital changes that occurred in daily life during the pandemic period and to reveal the meaning of these changes in terms of social life. In the research, mixed research methods and techniques were used. In this context, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 14 participants and a questionnaire was applied. Finally, the obtained data were analyzed and their results were evaluated.
