Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, reactive power compensation has become a serious problem in terms of network quality, energy efficiency and the cost of conduction networks. Therefore, reducing the reactive power at a required value is aimed in the places such as factory, school and etc. where the reactive power high levels through using the reactive-meters as well as the active meters. In this way, reactive power consumers have set up compensation systems composed of passive filters in order to keep the unintended energy, which the inductive loads take by means of the passive filters, at the certain levels determined by the energy regulations. Although their first costs are low, passive filters have started to give way to the active power filters (APF) due to their negative sides such as their resonance with the load and not quickly responding to the sudden reactive power changes at a desired level. In addition to reactive power compensation, the active power filters a lot of functions, such as filtering harmonics, voltage regulation and reduce the neutral line current, are able to perform. In this thesis, studied a reactive power compensation of single-phase asynchronous motor with single-phase parallel active power filter (PAPF) and is presented. In order to have a reactive power compensation of a single-phase asynchronous motor, firstly a model of single-phase parallel active power filter and single-phase asynchronous motor is obtained in the Matlab/Simulink program. The reactions of parallel active power filter to the slip-values (s) changing with the loads of the asynchronous motor have are compared.
