Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to investigate the contribition of the ceramic art applied in parks and gardens to the cultural development and enviromental interaction and share the data obtained. In this study, we aimed to emphasize the importance of the application of the new, ceramic consept and artistic development that emerged during the Republican period as an outdoor phenomenon and also to demonstrate the imptance of abstract ceramic applications in landscape architecture and urban development. It is also aimed to see the relationship of ceramic art with different disciplines in park- garden design and to reveal its enviromental impacts. Considering the apinion of artists and people, this study consist of four parts. In the fist chapter, the definition of ceramics has been described and the history of ceramics is explained to understand and evaluade the research in a better way. The developmentof classical, industrial and abstract ceramic has been discussed during the development of Anatolia Ceramics and the Republican Peiod. In the second part, the application of ceramic art as an outdoor phenomenon and its enviromental impacts in the urban development of landscape architecture, urban identity formation and park-garden designs have been investigated and the consequences of the research have been shared. In the third part, the findings are given. By studying park and garden Works in Eskişehir Main Campus and Kütahya Dumlupınar Üniversty Evliya Çelebi , Campus which are chosen as sampling people living in Eskişehir Citye Center, Eskişehir Anatolian University Faculty or Fire Arts students and Faculty members and the emplooyes working in Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Main Campus, whit a total of 100 people, have been interviewed and their thoughts about what aesthetic values have been added to by Eskişehir and Kütahya ceramic sculptures has been studied and documented with interview forms. The fourth chapter includes the results and recommendations and the evaluations of people, art academitians and readers in the process of art education about the abstract ceramics forms in the parks and gardens.
