Abstract (EN)
Determining the deep drawing behavior of sheet metals have an importanceat industrial applications. Especially the whiteware sector where deep drawing products are used is a mass production industry where deep drawing is very important in this respect. In the whiteware sector, the use of stainless steel materials is generally preferred. In the study presented in this context, the deep drawability of 304 and 430 grades of stainless steel materials were examined by finite element analysis. In the scope of the study, blankholder force, friction coefficient and die and punch radius were examined as process parameters and the effect of these parameters on deep drawing behavior was taken into account. Eta-Dynaform commercial software was used for finite element analysis and Hill-48 model, which is one of the most frequently used material models, was preferred as plasticity model. The results are analyzed in terms of forming limit diagrams. As a result, the effect of the process parameters used for both materials used in the study on the deep drawability was revealed.
