Abstract (EN)

One of the issues that affected by the phenomenon of globalization and which is affected by this phenomenon is the structure of the banking sector and the areas where this sector affected. As a matter of fact, unlike the old times the factors that the sector is faced with as people and institutions that people will invest in more have both increased and changed. Much work has been done regarding these factors. However, in some studies in the literature, if was seen that there is no clear and clear consensus on which factor affects the share certificates of banks. In this study, which was carried out in five sections, macroeconomic factors affecting the average price of shares of state banks and private banks in BIST 30 were analyzed with Augmented Dickey-Fuller (1981), Phillips-Perron (1988) unit root tests, Lee-Strazicich (2003) structural break unit root test, Bai-Perron (2003) multiple structural breaks test, Hatemi J-Roca (2014) Asymmetric and Balcılar et al. (2010) Bootstrap Rolling Window causality tests econometrically. As a result of the analyzes, lt is concluded that macroeconomic variables in general affect the price average of both the state banks and the private banks share certificates but the direction of the effect changes on a variable basis as well as on the basis of public banks and private banks.
