Abstract (EN)

ECG measurements have an important point to specify the heart diseases. ECGsignals are generated by the heart?s electrical actions and can be detected usingelectrodes over skin. These biological signals are amplified by usinginstrumentation amplifiers and can be processed with analog or digital signalprocessing techniques. The design and applications mentioned in this thesiscovers how to detect biopotential signals by using skin surface electrodes and tofilter ECG signals from noise signals. To transmit the obtained ECG signals byusing digital communication techniques, microprocessor controlled digitalconversion and serial data coding steps are also applied. The ECG signals werecoded for UART communication and transmitted at 434 MHz frequency forindustrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band. The transmitted data rate in thisapplication is 9600 bps. Transmitted ECG signals are remotely received by atransceiver module and digital signal converted to analog signal afterdemodulating steps. The analog ECG signals may be used to diagnose inviewing and recording units. QRS and other intervals of ECG signal may bedetermined on the results of telemetry system
