Abstract (EN)
In the production of renewable electricity, hydroelectric power plants have a great proposition. The frequency and stability of the generated energy, which is one of the important issues of hydroelectric power plants after interconnection grid. To ensure the stability of the energy networks, the operation of keeping the network frequency between certain values is called LoadFrequency Control. Load-frequency control is carried out in 3 stages; - Primary Frequency Control, - Secondary Frequency Control, - Tertiary Control. This thesis will provide information about primary frequency conrol performance in Pembelik Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant. Primary Frequency Control Tests have 3 stages as "Primary Frequency Control Reserve Test" and "Primary Frequency Control Sensitivity Test" and 'Primary Frequency Control 24 Hours Verification Test" to determine compliance with ENTSO-E (UCTE) standards. In this thesis, European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) criterias were taken into consideration. The compliance of Pembelik Dam and Hydro Power Plant to the criteria was examined.
