Clothing as a tool of expression in performance art

This research was carried out with the aim of creating a descriptive content focused on understanding and evaluating performance art, and performances centered around clothing were examined within the framework of the basic and sub-elements determined in relation to performance. Adhering to this purpose will provide a guiding reference on the basic and sub-elements by which performance art can be classified and interpreted, making this research's contribution to the literature significant. The research, which adopted qualitative methods, was based on a conceptual framework related to performance art and examined samples of five artists and five performances.
