Abstract (EN)
Ijma, which ranks the third place among sources of Islamic jurisprudence, is one of the most important one in the sense of certainty. In ijma theory there are a lot of issues which have the ciritical importance with regards to Islamic jurisprudence. The reason for this is ijma consists of an evidence derived from Qur'an and Sunna and qiyas. Therefore to comphrehend it entirely is so important to constitue a correct fıqh thought. This study is an attemp to analyze comparatively ijma understanding of Bazdawi and Samarkhandi, both belonging to Hanafi fiqh school. In addition, this study is a general evaluation about the theory of ijma in Hanafi approach. In thıs connect from the classical definition of ijma to naskh in the ijma theory has been argued during the study. Key Words: Fıqh, Ijma, Karamah, Usul al fıqh, Mujtehid
