Investigation of pilates studio management from the perspective of sports managers

Pilates studio management has become a rapidly developing and growing sector today. It is observed that a number of problems arise with this growth and development and that the business managers need several requirements. In this context, it is considered that pilates studio management stands out as an essential research area to examine from the perspective of both the operators and the sports managers. In this context, this study, it is aimed to discuss pilates studio management from the point of view of sports management and to examine the opinions of pilates studio managers and sports managers. Interviews were done with 15 people who have a Pilates studio in Istanbul or who work as managers/trainers in these studios or work as sports managers in public. The obtained data were analyzed by coding from qualitative analysis techniques. As a result of the study, it was observed that pilates studio operators attach great importance to expertise in terms of both business and auditors. It has been determined that unlicensed businesses that do not comply with the rules should be prevented in terms of fair competition and public health. It has been observed that Pilates studio enterprises should have a professional organization in order to find common solutions to their problems and to make various decisions.
