Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, the need for energy is constantly increasing due to fossil-based energy sources are running out rapidly in our country and world, resulting from the demand for renewable energy sources is increasing day by day. Organic semiconductors enter areas as inorganic materials such as silicon cannot be filled, with advantages such as low costs, coating on large and flexible surfaces, easy, cheap and fast production methods and material properties that can be synthesized according to the application area. Because the diffusion capacities of loads in polymer based organic solar cells are very low in polymers, a homogeneous structure is needed in the interlayer of donor-acceptor type materials. Absorption rates should be very good in order to benefit from almost all of the solar spectrum. For this reason, low band gap polymers should be preferred in organic batteries. Within the scope of the thesis, syntheses obtained by using Suzuki reaction with pyrene and pyrene's Thiophene, Benzothiodiazole and Triphenylamine molecules were produced to be used in the active interlayer of organic solar cell. Structural, optical, chemical and electrical analyzes of these syntheses were made. Pyrene and these syntheses were used in the active interlayer of the organic solar cell formed with the space carrier layer Poly(3,4- ethylenedioxythiophene):Poly(Styrenesulfonate) and the electron carrier layer Lithium fluoride between the indium tin oxside and Aluminum electrodes. The efficiency of the obtained organic solar cells was calculated as 0,104% with the use of only Pyrene in the active layer; 0,335% with the use of Pyrene-Thiophene; 0,445% with the use of PyreneBenzothiodiazole and 0,284% with the use of Pyrene-Triphenylamine. In this study, these synthesized structures were introduced to the literature by using them for the first time in organic solar cells.
