Recyling of plastic packaging wastes and example of Aksaray province

In this study, we briefly explain the terms of recycling and recycling, how to recycle and recycle plastic wastes, which are one of the types of packaging waste, and under the Packaging Wastes Management Plan that is being implemented in Aksaray Province Central District, and in the context of receiving the packaging wastes of Aksaray Municipality. The plant was examined as an example. In this study, markets, residences, shopping centers, schools, public institutions and organizations, hotels etc. are located within the central districts. The separation, recycling and recovery of plastic packaging wastes collected from all areas were examined. In the first part of our study, the definition of the packaging is given, the historical development of the package, the fields of application and types of use of the packaging, the separate collection activities at the source and the recovery of the packaging wastes are examined. In the second part, general information about Aksaray Province Waste Management Plan is given. In the third chapter, the main subject of the thesis, plastic packaging wastes, the source of separate collection, the way of application, the amount of waste collected, recycling processes for the recycling of waste products and cost analysis has been addressed.
