In this research, determination of student attitudes is aimed on the issues of environment, recycling, plastic and plastic wastes. For this purpose, the attitude scale comprising three basic dimensions of attitudes, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills has been prepared. The prepared attitude scale was applied to 492 students at 6th grades of nine primary schools at Kastamonu city center. The final form of this attitude scale was shaped with the statistical analysis. As a result, it was stated that the scale, can be used for determining the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills of students for the environment. Some evaluations were made according to gender, residence and income status. Although female students are more sensitive to protecting the environment, male students look at this issue only economically. It was determined that pupils living in sites are more sensitive to pupils living in detached houses. Another result of this research is that environmental sensitivity increases with increasing income level.
