Product design in plastic art and the possibility of concept of absurd

ABSTRACT When art of a certain term in history is mentioned, that includes different approaches of art which are opposite or similar to each other and whose features.ar-e determined depending on the approach differences in the social, political and economical areas that belonged to that certain historical period. Determination of features of art according to the characteristics of a certain historical moment also means a sort of continuous renewal on the basis of qualitative variation of the determiners. The concepts (that are) used in art are corrupted, reconstructed, questioned and modified. The concept of absurd, as well as being rich in historical background, is one of the hardest artistic production alternatives equipped with the new characteristics brought by the century. In this study "The Alternatives of Absurd Concept in Forming Production in Plastic Arts", the concept of absurd is examined concerning its place in the art fields of theatre and literature and also its uses in plastic arts. Thus, absurd as a concept that serves productive connections between different art disciplines has taken a determinative role in the process of forming the productions in this study with its leading possibilities. n
