Abstract (EN)

In this study, 4-klormetil-2-oxo-7-hidroksi-2H-klormen-2-one (KMHK) was synthesized by reaction of etil-4-kloroaseto asetat with rezorsinol. The poly(ethyl methacrylate) ended coumarine bearing hydroxyl group (KEMA) was prepared by ethyl methacrylate with using 4-klorometil,7-hidroksi coumarine (KMHK) as initiator by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) method. The macroinitiator was synthesized from reaction of methacryloyl chloride and poly(EMA) ended coumarine group synthesized. Molecular brushes of poly(KMEMA-comb-St) were synthesized by reaction of macromonomers, KMEMA, with styrene by free radical polymerization method (SRP) in different compositions. The characterization of obtained molecular brushes was investigated by FT-IR and 1H-NMR. The TGA and DSC techniques were used to investigate the glass transition temperature and thermal behaviors of molecular brushes. GPC was used to investigate the average molecular weight and polydispersity. Intrinsic viscosities were measured by using Ubbelohde viscosity meter. The activation energies on thermal decomposition for molecular brushes of poly(KMEMA-comb-St) were determined from the deterioration curves of different heating rate according to the technique of Flayn-wall. Dielectric behavior of poly(KMEMA-comb-St) brushs polymers was investigated as a function of frequency and temperature. Keywords: Macromonomer, brush polymers, ATRP, dielectric properties
