Abstract (EN)

In this study the tendency to complexation of poli(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic anhydride) with Cu+2, Mn+2 and Zn+2 ions were investigated by UV-Visible Spectroscopy Method. The stoichiometry, formation constants, gibbs free energies ( ? G), enthalpies ( ? H) and entropies ( ? S) of the complexation reactions were calculated.Experimental studies were performed at 25 and 40 ? C to investigate the effect of temperature on complexation reactions. It was observed that the temperature increase the complex formation constant. The complex formation constants of each metal were calculated by mole ratio method and found in order of: Kf(Zn) > Kf(Mn) > Kf(Cu).The calculated complex formation constants and gibbs free energies showed that the complex formation tendency increased in following order: Cu+2 < Mn+2 < Zn+2.
