This study was made with the aim of analyzing Lavazza-which is a global coffee brand-calendar photos that were published between 1993-2012. In the study that discussed popular culture and gender in calendar photos, primarily a theoretical framework was drawn on the concepts of popular culture, consumer culture, body culture, gender, photography and advertising, focused on coffee culture and Lavazza brand. Later, Lavazza calendar photos were analyzed according to the years in terms of popular culture and gender by taking into consideration non-verbal communication means (appearance, manner, activity, props and settings) enumerated by Dyer (1982).
