Abstract (EN)

In this study we aim to analyse the releasing attitude of microcapsules and beta cyclodextrin molecular capsules containing perfume. For this purpose inclusion complexes and ethyl cellulose essential microcapsules are formed with orange oil. Characterization studies for microcapsules and inclusion complexes are applied with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), Sanning Electron Micoscope (SEM) and Gas Cromotography- Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS) analysis. Microcapsules and inclusion complexes are applied in hundred percent cotton knitted fabrics and washing fastnesses of them are investigated. Smell releasing behaviour of the complexes and microcapsules formed with orange oil is investigated after applied to cotton kntitted fabrics and after 1 and 5 washing cycles using sensitive scale. Keywords: Cyclodextrin, ethyl cellulose, orange oil
