Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine psychosocial variables such as loneliness, spousal support and perfectionism that affect psychological well-being levels of married women. The main objective of the study is to determine the effects of these variables on psychological well-being and to develop strategies to increase individuals' well-being. The sample of the study consists of 316 married women living in Turkey. Data were collected using the Demographic Information Form, "Psychological Well-being Scale", "Loneliness Scale", "Perception of Spousal Support Scale "and "Perfectionism Scale". The quantitative research method was used in the study and the data were analyzed using SPSS software. In the analysis of the data, multiple regression analysis, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) applied. The research findings indicate that emotional support has a strong and positive impact on psychological well-being; however, financial, appreciation, and social interest support types have negative effects. Loneliness had a negative effect on psychological well-being, while unhealthy perfectionism had a similarly negative effect. Healthy perfectionism, on the other hand, showed a positive relationship with psychological well-being. ANOVA results revealed that psychological well-being levels differed according to demographic variables such as age, education level and income. These findings emphasize the importance of interventions that strengthen the perception of partner support, reduce feelings of loneliness, and promote healthy perfectionism attitudes to enhance psychological well-being. The study provides valuable information both academically and practically to support individuals' psychological well-being. Keywords: psychological well-being, loneliness, spouse support, perfectionism, married women, regression analysis
