Abstract (EN)
In this work, pregnenolone was incubated with Aspergillus terreus MRC 200365 and Aspergillus tamarii MRC 72400 in order to see how it would be metabolized by these two fungi. Incubation with both Aspergillus terreus MRC 200365 and Aspergillus tamarii MRC 72400 afforded two metabolites. The structures of the metabolites were elucidated by the melting points, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and IR spectra. Each incubation afforded 3ß-hydroxy-17a-oxa-D-homo-androst-5-en-17-one and 17a-oxa-D-homo-androst-5-en-3,17-dione.
