Termination of the professional football player contract and the consequences of the termination

In our study, the termination of the professional football player contract, which has been determined in TFF Regulations on the status and transfers of the professional football players and the consequences of the termination have been examined. In the first part of our study the legal status of TFF and the TFF's regulations and the professional football player contract in general terms have been examined, due to the arrangement of the professional football player contract in a regulation which has been regulated by TFF's Board of Directors. Hereby, the process by which that the conducting away the state's influence and becoming an autonomous legal entity of TFF has been examined with the regulations made by the legislator. In the second part of our study, the termination of the professional football player contract and in the third part the consequences of the termination have been examined. Because of the continuous renewal and development of sports law with the decisions given by both national and international jurisdictions, in our study have been tried to refer the decisions of national and international jurisdictions frequently.
