Abstract (EN)
Data on nuclear cross section are needed both in the applied fields of nuclear physics and for understanding different reaction processes, developing reaction models and testing the validity of existing models. The main objective of this study is to analyze the cross sections of proton-induced reactions within the framework of empirical formulas and nuclear models. Starting from this point of view, empirical cross section formulas for (p,n) reactions in the energy range of 10-13 MeV were obtained in this thesis. These formulas include a structure based on the asymmetry parameter s and energy excess (E_p+ Q), and formed within the framework of statistical theory. On the other hand, this thesis makes a contribution to the lack of data and inconsistencies between experiment and theory by using comprehensive nuclear models in the the theoretical modeling of the (p,n), (p,2n) and (p,α) reaction cross sections. For this purpose, cross section calculations were carried out using TALYS 1.96, ALICE/ASH and CEM03.01 codes. These calculations include the effects of different nuclear models on the cross sections. Accordingly, various equilibrium and pre-equilibrium models, level density models and optical models were used to calculate the cross sections of proton-induced reactions on some intermediate mass target nuclei. Finally, the isotopic dependence of (p,n) reactions was investigated in this thesis. For this purpose, the calculations including isotopic effects on the cross sections of 50-70Fe(p,n) reactions were performed using the TALYS-1.96 code.
