Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the effectof psychological capital on organizational citizenship behavior and deviation behavior. Psychological capital consists of four dimensions: hope, optimism, self-efficacy and resiliance. In this study, organizational citizenship behavior and deviation behavior are handled in two dimensions as individual and organizational context. So, white-collar employees of the firms operating in the manufacturing sector which are located in the TRC1 region, Gaziantep, Adıyaman and Kilis provinces were surveyed in order to examine the relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior and deviation behavior. In this study, two-stage method was applied, in other words two different questionnaires were used. Therefore, the managers have evaluated the behavior of their subordinates about their citizenship and deviation behaviors on both the individual and the organization context while subordinates have filled the questionnaire only about their psychological capital levels. In total, 284 white-collar employees and 102 managers participated in the study. The data collected by the survey were analyzed by various statistical methods. According to the findings, it was determined that optimism, resilience, hope and self-efficacy have positive effects on citizenship behavior towards individuals context. However, optimism, resilience and hope have positive effects on citizenship behavior towards the organization context; no statistically significant relationship was found between self-efficacy and citizenship behavior towards the organization context. Finally, resilience, hope and self-efficacy were found to negatively affect the deviation behavior of the individual and the organization context whereas no statistically significant relationship was found between optimism and deviation behavior towards the individual and the organization context
