Abstract (EN)
İV SUMMARY Masters Thesis LENGHT DETERMINATION OF COMMON CARP ( Crpriaus carpio L., 1758) AND BARBEL FISH ( Bartus esocious Hecfcel, 1843) USING BACK- CALCULATION METHOD Asiye GİRGİN Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Aquaculture 1994, Page: 30 In this study, age determination of Common carp ( Cyprinus carpio L.1758 )and Barbel fish ( Barbwesocinus H.1846 ) populations were determined from totally 177 fish samples. During the study growth characteristics and growth rates were determined. Condition factor were determined according to age and length groups; mean lenghts, mean weights and with back calculation method previous lengths of fish were obtained! Lenght - weight relations were Log W = - 4.8530 + 3.0070 Log L and Log ¥= -5.1299+3.0719 Log L respectively. KEY VORDS : Common carp ( Cyprinusearpiû). Barbel fish ( Bartu&esocinus). Back - calculation. Age - lenght. Age - weight and Lenght - weight relations. Condition factor.
