Abstract (EN)

In this study, an open-source Python library named pycrisprcas9 was developed to identify gRNAs in CRISPR/Cas systems using the Python programming language. In the developed software, rule set 1 created by Doench et al (2014) and penalty matrix created by Hsu et al (2013) were used to calculate gRNA efficiencies. The datasets used to test the accuracy of the developed library were tested using the package in the CRISPRseek package (Zhu et al., 2014), one of the R packages previously developed in R. results were compared. The accuracy of the results has been confirmed in the analysis. The user guides for the library are available on the Github repository that can be accessed at https://github.com/sezerislambey
