Abstract (EN)

Efficient delivery of health care services requires strong management, and it is only possible when managers are authentic and true. And it is not just a trait but a leadership style. Authentic leadership has drawn the attention of numerous academics and grown an importance within the literature. The main objective of this research is to examine the association between authentic leadership qualities, including sincerity, trustworthiness, and ethical behaviour, and their effect on healthcare provider's well-being, productivity, job satisfaction, and the quality of care provided to patients. As the study employs a qualitative methodology, various interviews were conducted with the personnel working as leaders in different departments of healthcare units. A purposive sampling method was used for this research. Purposive sampling means getting information from the selected participants based on predetermined criteria. Some of the data analysis was done using NVivo, and some was done manually. The data were coded and categorized into themes. The findings of this research highlight that authentic leadership can enhance the work engagement of healthcare workers and provide quality services to patients, which leads to higher patient satisfaction and more revenue for the hospital.
