Abstract (EN)
In Turkey, Quercus robur, Q. petraea (Matt.) Liebl. and Q. pubescens Willd.species are known as folc medicine by public, growing wild. Its drog recorded in the european pharmacopeia.The Q. cortex drog have same biological activities as; antimicrobial, antiinflammatory, antioxidant, gastroprotective and anticancer. These effects blongs to some polyfenols as flavonoits and tannins.In this study, botanical and chemical characteristics; biological activities and usage of Quercus sp. were gathered together.
