Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to identify prognostic factors in patients who underwent surgical intervention through Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC). Data of 80 patients; operated between 1996 and 2010 was examined retrospectively. The average age of the patients was found as 59,16 and the rate for man/woman was detected as 1,28.Application was due to incidental diagnosis at 53 (%66,3) patients and disease depended complaints at 27 (%33,7) patients. Hystological subtype was classified as 70 patients with clear cell (%87,5), 6 patients chromofobe and 4 patients papillary type RCC. After an observation of averagely 35,3 months 43 patients (%53,75) were alive without disease, 9 (11,25) of them were alive with disease. 28 patients (%35) died. Independent risk factors in multivariable analysis were detected as Stage, Fuhrman Degree and renal vein invasion and presence of those factors effect disease-free survival negatively.5 yearly life expectancy according to stages was determined as %84,7 in stage 1, %71,4 in stage 2, %48,7 in stage 3 and %0 in stage 4 and according to Fuhrman degree; %67,7 in Degree1 and 2, %42,2 in Degree 3 and 4. Positive prognostic factors in univariate analysis are mentioned as incidental application, low grade tumour, low grade Fuhrman Degree, lack of peripheral lipid invasion, lack of renal vein invasion, lack of Gerota's non-spill, lack of lymph node involvement and lack of sarcomatoid changes. Independent parameters in multivariate analysis are determined as stage, Fuhrman Nuclear Degree and Pathologic Lymph node Involvement.
