Abstract (EN)

In this paper, the effect of the application of drilling process to an aviation material Rene 65 super alloy to the workpower of the machine(mV), tool wears and surface roughness is investigated. Taguchi method is used to analyze the effect rate of the optimum parameters, which are set by the experiments, to the results. In the experiments, three different drills which are Ø7,9 mm diameter and the same cutting fluid is used. First drill is standard helix drill, second is the drill which has an internal cooling system and the last one is the TiAlN coated drill. These three different drill types, three different spindle speeds and three different feed rates of the tools is analyzed per the Signal/Noise(S/N) ratios in the view of the results of the machine work powers(mV), tool wears and surface roughnesses. According to the experiment results, per the work power of the machine(mV), the internal cooling drill, 300 revolution per minute of the spindle and 25,4 mm/min feed of the tool, per tool wear TiAlN coated drill, 500 revolution per minute of the spindle and 50,8 mm/min feed of the tool, per surface roughness TiAlN coated drill, 500 revolution per minute of the spindle and 50,8 mm/min feed of the tool are found as the optimum parameters.
