The functions of qualification adjectives in Reşat Nuri Güntekin's novel is Dudaktan Kalbe

In this thesis, descriptive adjectives in Reşat Nuri Gültekin's novel Dudaktan Kalbe are examined, and through that examination, the relation of these adjectives to the wording and fiction of the novel are attempted to be explained. The study is comprised of four sections: Introduction, Examination, Evaluation and Conclusion. In the Introduction section; the objective, method, and scope of the study, and theoretical information about the examination are stated. In the examination section, which constitutes the basis of the study, the determinative groups that are comprised of descriptive adjectives are examined under the main heading of "Adjective Clauses According to the Trait of the Adjective and Noun Components". The determinative groups under this heading are classified under the subheaders of "Descriptive Adjective + Noun, Descriptive Adjective + Nominal, Adjectival + Noun, Adjectival + Nominal, Adjectival + Noun, Adjectival + Nominal". In the Evaluation and Conclusion sections, descriptive adjectives, the number of times they are mentioned in the book and their percentages are presented on tables and graphs, and through the data obtained, the relation of the descriptive adjectives in the book to the wording in the novel is established.
