Abstract (EN)

In this study, load bus voltage, active power and reactive power variations were examined by Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) devices in a wind farm which runs connected to grid. In this system, FACTS devices such as; Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM), Static Var Compensators (SVC), Static Synchronous Series Compensators (SSSC) and Thyristor Controlled Series Compensators (TCSC), were used. A double feed induction generator (CBAG) was used in the wind plant. These simulation studies were carried out by Matlab/ Simulink. Voltage, active power and reactive power variation in the load bus on active and reactive load models were presented with figures and tables. As a result of the study; it can be concluded that by using FACTS devices in the wind farms, possible instability of conditions in the system can be improved.
