Otherisation in the works of Sabahattin Ali

Otherisation is the problems which exist throughout history. The reflection of those on individual, groups and communities grew now on race and colour, then an ideology or bodily deficiency. Those stood as the causes of individual's being othered and excluded from society. The effects of those, especially on individual, turned out to be his withdrawing into his shell far more and isolating himself from the society. The aim of this study is, examining Sabahattin Ali's works with centralize otherisationing which has quite wide and historical effect. That is what aimed here is, present Sabahattin Ali that looks as "a other" for some region, processed much who's otherisationing the others, in his work. İn this direction, on the first part of this study, concepts of other and otherisationing will be processed and then the period which Sabahattin Ali lived at will be handled. Because the auther's otherisation ise closely connected with the period. Then Sabahattin Ali's otherisation process in this period will be presented too. On the second part of the study, etnich otherisation, woman's otherisation, categorical otherisation, otherisation of due to physical and mental disabilities, Anatolia and Anatolian people's otherisation, self otherisation, otherisation of due to religions, and nature's otherisation which appear in Sabahattin Ali's works will be handled. Profit by author's all works, will be tried to reach the result that those all exist in his works.
