Abstract (EN)
Sheet metal is a valuable and common industrial resource that is used in various industries, espescially in automative and construction in our country and around globe. It is priced by US Dollar in both local and global markets. This product which requires high thechnology to be worked, should be reclaimed within an effective supply chain management. Espescially while observing that global supply remaining under the demand during COVID-19 pandemic, effective supply chain management becomes more critical. In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the most optimal implementation areas by identifying prioritiziation amongst the supply chain performance criterias in sheet metal industry. In the thesis, 5 general performance criterias which were mentioned in Supply Chain Operations Referance Model (SCOR) and sub-criterias were identified and were compared and evaluated with each other dually by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. As a result of interviews with 4 seperate supply chain managers in a company that operates within sheet metal industry and based in Tuzla district of city of İstanbul, 48 sub-criterias in addition to 5 general criterias were identified and as an analytical hierarchy tree, they were matched dually with each other and were evaluated by AHP method. As the results of evaluations show, "Reliability" comes first and other criterias "Costs", "Responding", "Assets" and "Agility" follows, respectively. Even several researchs about SCOR Model and AHP method exist seperately, by observing the lack of researchs that brings these two topics together, raises the originality of this thesis.
