Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of violance behaviors in health sector on job satisfaction and burnout of health workers. Taking into account the growing importance of the subject in recent years, The study was conducted on 396 helth employee workıng in Malatya city center, state hospital and medical faculty hospital. The study has been carriedout according to the situations in which the employees working in different professions (doctor, nurse, medical officer, midwife, technician, etc) and different units (emergency, intensive care, internal units, surgical units) have been subjected to violence during the last 5 years. In this research cross-sectional Scanning model was used. In the research, personal information form which consists of 16 guestions including demographic infromation prepared in the lıght of related literature was used as data collection tool, and Minnesota job satisfaction scale was used to measure job satisfaction level and Maslach Burnout Scale was used to determine burnout levels. As a result of the research, statistically significant differences were found with the variables of all demographic data according to the sub-dimensions of job satisfaction accordıng to the sub-dimensions of the job satisfactions statistically significant differences were found regarding the variables related to violance except the type of vıolence applied. As a result of the research, according to demographic data; No statistically significant differences was found between burnout sub-dimensions and age, gender and workıng time variables in the current institution. However significant differences were found between the variables of marital status, education level, proffesion, institution unit, working time and burnout sub-dimensions. İn terms of being subjected to violance; Significant differences were found between the variables of exposure to violence, the type of violence applied, the status of initiating legal action after violence and the sub-dimensions of burnout.
