Abstract (EN)

In this study, 917 specimens belonging to order Neuroptera were collected between April to September 2007 from 91 localities in the East Samanlı Mountains (Sakarya, Düzce, Bolu). As a result of the identifications 40 species and 1 subspecies of 24 genera belonging to the 8 families of the order Neuroptera were determined. Characteristic features, phenologies, ecologies, distributions of the species have been identified from the research area and faunal elements were given. The spread of species was determined both for Turkey and the world. The determined 39 species and 1 subspecies are new records for the research area, whereas the species Aleuropteryx juniperi Ohm, 1968 belonging to the family Coniopterygidae is a new record for the Turkish Neuroptera Fauna. Furthermore, male genitalia segments of the species were given as drawings. The females? genitalia segments were drawn when male specimens were not foundKey Words: Neuroptera, The East Samanlı Mountains, Fauna, new record
