Abstract (EN)

Objective of this study is to determine suitable potassium spraying application intervals (one week, two weeks, and three weeks) and doses (control, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 ppm) for processing tomato. The study was carried out at Agricultural Application and Research Center of Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University between April and October in 2019. CXD 142 Fı industrial tomato variety were used in the experiment. The seeds were sown on April 30th and seedlings were planted on May 30th. All investigated parameters were affected significantly by potassium application intervals and doses. The highest average fruit weight was determined at two weeks intervals (102.37 g) and 300 ppm (104,52 g) application. The most total yield was found out two weeks intervals (83.89 t/ha) and 300 ppm (88.20 t/ha) application. The best oBriks value was observed one week (5.11) and 300 ppm (5.24) application. The highest tomato paste yield was obtained from one week (14.16 t/ha) and two weeks (14.18 t/ha) and 300 ppm (15.42 t/ha) application. As a conclusion, the most important parameters were generally increased by two weeks spraying interval and 300 ppm potassium application.
