Abstract (EN)

Centrifuge decanter machines are that create centrifugal force with the effect of angular velocity and can seperate solid-liquid, liquid-liquid phases with this high force. Centrifuge decanters are grouped according to their abilty to seperate two-phase or three-phase mixtures. Since centrifuge decanter machines can be used in every sector where phase seperation is needed, it has a wide working area in the industrial sense. In order for centrifuge decanter machines to perform the phase seperation process in the most appropriate way, the sheets where the liquid phase seperated from the machine as a result of seperation takes place, must be adjusted to the appropriate liquid outlet diameter. The adjusted liquid outlet diameter is not fixed for each product, it varies according to many factors. In order to adjust the liquid outlet diameter, the machine can be stopped completely and this adjustment can be made. In this study, an adjustable impeller is designed to adjust the liquid outlet diameters of centrifuge decanter machines without stopping machine. In order for the designed impeller to provide the fluid output within the desired parameters, numerical analyzes were made and the optimum fluid flow geometry was found. The design of the adjustable impeller has been completed so that it can be produced in accordance with the geometry obtained in the numerical analysis and can be mounted on the machine.
