Abstract (EN)

In our study we have examined the modifications which depends on age with light microscopy, electron microscopy and with an immunohistochemistry. For this purpose; we have studied six different age groups that are 1 day, 22 day, 4 weeks, 10 weeks, 8 months and 22 months. We have made immunohistochemical observations with PCNA, Caspase 9, Caspase 8, Caspase 3 markers and besides with light microscobic special staining method with Alcian blue- PAS stainIn our special staining we observed that especially in new born group dominant cell type is Goblet cell. We have showed that from the 22 day group large intestine layers are accessed to it is mature structureImmunohistochemical staining which we have done with PCNA staining; in new born group proliferation is weaker than the other groups, but we have determined that it showed continuity parallel with age processDeclining age groups when they assessed for apoptosis; the Caspase 9 staining is irregular in all groups when there is not any important difference in Caspase 8 staining. Caspase 3 staining is observed in new born group the mostIn our electron microscopy study result; while we have determined the epithelium is immature in new born group, with the age advancing, in epithelium, cell mitochondrias, lateral surface and apical surface, degenerative modifications are detected. Besides this, it is understood that Goblet cell? s granule structure is degenerated. We have come to the conclusion that with advancing age, the structure- function relation is damaged.
