Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, asymptotic analysis, the WKB approach and its application, and the Borel transform and Pade approach are explained; the theory and use of the BenderWu ´ Mathematica package prepared by Tin Sulejmanpasic-Mithat ¨ Unsal are shown, and its ¨ application on a problem of a nonuniform string, which is the main purpose of the thesis, is demonstrated. Unlike previous studies aimed at finding the eigenvalues of this problem, the Bender-Wu method is used for the first time, to the best of our knowledge, and similar results are obtained with other methods. Keywords: Perturbation theory, Asymptotic analysis, Schrodinger equation, WKB method, ¨ Borel approximation, Pade approximation, Quasinormal modes, Nonuniform String
