Abstract (EN)
In the first part of this thesis, the SLM production parameters of Ti6Al4V alloy were optimized. Hatch spacing, scanning speed and laser power are the parameters that have the highest effect on density of the samples in the SLM method. In the study, L9 orthogonal experimental design was established according to the hatch spacing, scanning speed and laser power parameters and their levels. The grey relational analysis method based on the Taguchi method was used for optimization and mathematical models were obtained with the help of regression analysis. In the second part, when both the optimisation and experimental results were compared, the sample parameter set with the highest density value and the lowest surface roughness was selected and SLM samples were produced for the shot peening process. In the third part, conventional, severe and over shot peening processes was applied to the SLM samples. It was demonstrated that the shot peening process improves the metallurgical and fatigue properties of Ti6Al4V alloy produced by SLM.
