Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the inhibition effect of some phenolic compounds on selected pancreatic cholesterol esterase enzyme activity was tested in silico and in vitro. Inhibition of the enzyme is important for pharmacological applications as it will stop dietary cholesterol intake. IC50 values obtained from in vitro results are in the range of 12-64 µM. In order to determine enzyme-ligand interactions at the molecular level, a doking study was performed using the Molegro Virtual Docker MVD 2019.7.0 program. It has been observed that hydrogen bonds are effective in ligand-protein binding. When in vitro and in silico studies are evaluated, oleuropein is the most effective molecule on the enzyme.
