Abstract (EN)

Today, fossil fuels are commonly used to meet energy needs. However, considering depletion of fossil resources, damage to the environment and especially life, it is necessary to turn to renewable energies. When, it is considered that the increase of the cars used in daily life, it cannot be ignored that destruction increases extensively. One of the most effective ways to reduce these rates is to use electric engine driven vehicle which have clean energy instead of vehicles with internal combustion engine. This research is conducted in order to materialise the utility of electric energy in automotive industry, and its benefits. Energy requirement of a commonly used car in daily life is determined the public usage profile. After determination the need of energy, appropriately to the daily usage profile and the energy requirement, electric motor, and motor controller, and battery packs are chosen. After it is conversion to electric-motor-driven condition theoretically, the energy requirement is determined again. Comparing in terms of fuel consumption, cost, and productivity with having the internal combustion engine, gains are evaluated in detail. The theoretical information which is necessary for conversion a vehicle into an electric motor using the obtained findings is presented in detail in the research.
