Abstract (EN)
Turkish Sugar Factories have been contributing to our country since its establishment. Occupational health and safety (OHS) problems are frequently experienced during the production process of crystal white sugar, which is important in our country and in the world. Although each factory has the same production steps, the form, probability and severity of occupational health problems or occupational accidents are specific to the operating factory. For this reason, when determining risk analysis methods, it is important to choose hazards and risk scores in a way that is more suitable for application and provides faster results. In this study, Burdur Sugar Factory, among the 15 sugar factories operating in our country, was selected as a field study, the current risk analysis of the factory was examined, and risk analysis was carried out with the "Fine Kinney Risk Analysis" risk assessment method in the raw factory section, which is the section where the most work accidents occur in the factory. The results obtained were compared with the existing risk analysis, and it was seen that the frequency multiplier with the risk analysis performed with the "Fine Kinney" method in the Raw Factory section of Burdur Sugar Factory gave more sensitive results compared to the "L Type 5x5 Matrix" method.
