Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this work is to investigate the electical and magnetic properties as well as general properties of ternary Cu-%11Al-%3.38Ni shape memory alloys and effect of the heat treatments and its duration on the structure of the alloys. Prepared samples have been initially annealed at 930 ºC in argon atmosphere for 30 minutes and 60 minutes. With a subsequent rapid cooling ice brine. The identification of the general properties of samples mainly investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), examining the austenite- martensitic phase transformation temperatures, entropy and enthalpy variation in CuAlNi shape memory alloys. According to x-ray diffraction pattern, lattice parameters were calculated and the crystal structure analysis of the sample was determined. Then, electrical resistance and magnetization of the sample to the applied magnetic field under the different temperatures have been measured.
