Abstract (EN)

In this study, electrical conductivity properties of shape memory Cu%11Al- %3.82Ni and Cu%llAl-3.38%Ni (in weight) alloys were investigated by using two probe method. Specimens prepared from these alloys which have a disordered structure were annealed at 930 °C for 30 minutes (in the P-phase region) and then quenched in iced brine. Consequently, it was observed that the alloys have M18R monoclinic structure. Ageing processes were applied to these alloys which have M18R monoclinic structure at 200 °C for 1, 3, 5 and 7 hours. Resistivity variations depend on temperature of the samples without thermal treatment exhibited an ordered variation. For the samples aged at 200 °C, resistivity depend on temperature showed a disordered variation. It was seen that these alloys have not a stable structure after quenching and this unstability continued with the ageing Key Words: Shape memory alloys, Electrical resistivity, Thermal ageing
