Abstract (EN)

In this study in which we have handled the political struggles on the geography of Caucausus, it is primarily stated the located places of the regions with the definotions made upon their borders. Located on a very important position, the Caucasus have witnessed so many challenges indead between 8th and 15th centuries. Before the arrival of the Seljuks to the Caucasus; the Shirvanshahs, Shaki and Albania State, the Sacoğulları, Salaris, Shaddadis, the Rawadids, the Armenians and the Georgians dominated. Espesially the Georgians with their presence in the Caucasus and their political influences, have given a great deal of dominance over other states as well. Iraq Seljuks, Saltukids, Artukids, Mengücekids, Anatolian Seljuk Empire, Horzemshahs State, Mongols, Karakoyuns, Akkoyuns, Timurid State and Ottoman Empire has become the dominant power in the Caucasus and these states struggled not only the georgians but also among themselves.
