Abstract (EN)

synchronous buck dc-dc converter that can be used to produced hydrogenthrough electrolysis by using the energy from renewable energy sources hasbeen designed and implemented. The reason for selecting this topology is thefact that the voltage level at the output of renewable sources such as solar cells isabout 12 V dc, and the voltage level required for electrolysis is about 2 V dc.Normal buck converters have low efficienct at low output voltages since thevoltage drops on the components are comparable to the output voltage. Theconverter has been designed for and tested at 25 A. It was used for electrolysiswith two different electrodes and the effect of electrode opening on theoperation was observed. The thesis also includes a complete simulation study.Science Code :905.1.033Key Words :Senkron switching, electrolysesPage Number :102Adviser :Yrd. Doç. Dr. M. Timur AYDEMİR
