This thesis aims to discuss the stages in the process where the ceramic becomes a product from its source; with the objective research point of view within the scope of sustainability. In this context, starting from the mining activities of the thesis, the ceramic sector will examine the carbon footprint, waste management and responsible production activities within the scope of the concept of sustainability. To investigate examples of ceramic art work that will develop a sustainable attitude towards environmental degradation and will constitute a precedent. Within the scope of the design of the ceramic material, it is to ensure the spread of creative ideas by revealing what are the sustainable functional product applications against environmental degradation. In the later parts of the study, information was shared by including sustainable ceramic workshops, which are thought to provide concrete contributions to the research. In the continuation of this title, the subject is taken into consideration with the workshop owners who produce individual ceramics.
